Breakfast is good. Rooms are nice. Staff is polite and accomidating. Only complaint is the small tub.
We got there about midnight after traveling for 10 hours, needless to say we were exhausted. The first room they gave us had not been cleaned, beds unmade and trash scattered about. The night clerk was very apologetic and quickly worked to get us another room. He insisted I check the new room and be sure I was satisfied. It appeared to be ok. We settled in my son went to bed while his wife showered. When she came out she informed me that the toilet was stopped up. I let the clerk know and he offered to get us another room, but by now it's 1:30 am and we just wanted to get some sleep. The next morning we were preparing to leave, I noticed several is that had been left by the previous occupants. Dirty underwear and socks under the edge of the bed, and trash in various places. I gathered the items left behind and took it to the clerk at the desk. She was very apologetic but offered nothing to entice us to ever come back. She did say she would have the manager contact me. They never happened. I called back three times before I was able to speak with the manager. He reluctantly offered to email a coupon for $40 discount off of our next visit, which is pretty worthless considering we live 750 miles away and rarely ever pass through that area. Guess what he never sent the email, and I haven't been able to reach him since. I don't recommend this hotel.
I like this property because it is close to everything and still off the beaten path. The rooms are small but comfortable and enjoyable worth the window seat and the living room space. Breakfast is good but bring back the waffles and danish please.
We had an issue when we were given our room, but the front desk cleek immediately rectified the issue. The staff was super friendly. The room was as expected. The only downside is they don't have waffles on the breakfast bar. We would recommend this place to other travellers.
Great place! Not big rooms, but a perfect place to sleep for a night or two like I did. Jeff, who works the front desk at night, went above and beyond to help me with whatever I needed.He even found me a phone charger to use as I left mine at home. E every company needs at least one Jeff.
