We had 3 rooms, supposed to check in at 3. We got into 2 of the rooms at 4:45, the 3rd at 5:30. We were in town for a concert, only had about 30 minutes to eat and still missed the 1st part of the show. I realize the hotel was slammed, and the lobby was filled with people waiting on rooms, and 2 1/1 hour late check in is unacceptable. If we had stayed past check out time, we would have been charged an additional nights stay...we weren't even offered double points, or a discount for the rooms. We had a bad experience with out last Hampton stay in Longview too...I can't see us choosing to stay in another Hampton after this.
This is one of the best hotels we've stayed in. Room was big with a sitting area and a couch. The room was also very, very clean and modern. The staff at the front desk was very friendly, helpful and professional. They even gave us a bottle of water for being patient with their service. The lobby was nice and clean. Breakfast area w as large. There were two kitchen staff members constantly monitoring the breakfast items. There was plenty for everyone, including tons of bacon. I definitely would stay at this hotel again. Oh and I dont know the guy's name but i know he's the only male housekeeper i seen worked up there... Man, I'VE NEVER SEEN A MALE HOUSEKEEPER CLEAN SOOOOOOO NEAT AND SPOTLESS. He kept my wife smiling as if she wanted him lol but nice cleaning skills Mr. CLEAN. WE WILL DEFINITELY HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TO CLEAN OUR ROOMS WHEN WE COME BACK AGAIN IN FEBRUARY! Your work ethic tells made us feel like home! See you guys soon! #TeamHampton
We stay in alot of Hampton Inns, this on by far is the worse. Our room was terrible, service was even worse. I would noy recommend this to anyone Ever. Will not stay here again. Me and my kids had the worse 2 nights.
Well kept room. Beds were very comfortable. One nice thing was that there were plenty of USB port built into the power outlets, which made charging all our stuff easy. The bathroom was pretty good as well. Maybe the only small complaint was that the air could have worked a little stronger, but I do like it cold in my room.
Stayed here a week ago and was very surprised and impressed with the service from the staff. My last stay here has been years ago and although this appears to be be an old hotel, a recent upgrade has resulted in a modern clean comfortable feel. Housekeeping clearly take pride in their work, especially that sweet, charming, respectful, gentleman who cleaned my room that next morning while i stepped out for a meeting, i came back and the room was spotless! Definitely will be back!
