Didn’t eat anything here because we sat down waiting for 15 minutes and never saw a waiter or waitress so we left and went to Joes Crab Shack. It wasn’t even that crowded so idk why why the wait was so long.
We ate at the bar area. Our waiter was nice. However the food was slow (not the waiter’s fault) and there was no silverware. The big issue that I have is that when someone from our table asked the hostess for silverware she asked why didn’t we ask the bar and then seemed to be bothered when we asked her. We didn’t know there were rules on who we should ask for silverware. We ordered quite a bit of food and drinks. We just wanted to eat our food. Customer service is big to me when I enter any establishment especially from the hostess since you are the faces we see first. If you decide to go here make sure you ask for silverware before sitting or the hostess may not like it.
My Cobb salad had no eggs and brown avocado. When I asked for fresh avocado, I was told all of it was like this because they were prepping for guacamole. I don’t eat brown guacamole either, so I’m not quite sure what that excuse is supposed to mean. Waitress was pleasant at least.
Went here for a birthday cheesecake . Birthday girl had a Red Velvet Cheesecake. She gave it a 5. The cheesecake trio was perfect for 2. You get to pick three flavors and they come in small squares with the sauces on top. Yummy!!! 2 latte's ,one coffee, 1 red velvet cheesecake and a trio sampler was $26.51.
Tonight we were reminded why we never even think of this place as a restaurant. After waiting 10 minutes for a hostess to emerge from the back kitchen, we were finally seated. Once seated at a joke of a table (semi circle for 2) we then waited 20 minutes for someone to even talk to us about drinks. Our waitress, who had walked by us multiple times without saying anything and making eye contact, quietly under her breathe told us she "would be right with us". That was 15 minutes ago. But at least walking along the boardwalk is nice.
