This place is great for the convenience of being right in the neighborhood (Which is why I gave it a 2 star instead of 1) but the customer service here is never great. I receive WIC and came here on two separate occasions to get it - and WAS NOT able to leave with the items I spent an hour looking for around the store. The first being when they first opened (maybe weeks after) but they had WIC signs near the prices of items. So my bad for thinking that they did WIC. I get to the check out and they told me that they don't do WIC at that point in time. They should not have had the WIC tags near prices of items if wic was not being accepted yet. So, I spent an hour in there with my little baby for nothing. The second time I went (was tonight - 11/25/2017) and I get all of my items as usual, takes me about 30 minutes to an hour depending. I get to checkout and they told mean because they didn't have the correct eggs they couldn't let me get my items. The lady said they couldn't even waive the eggs that I got (which were the only 12 pack of eggs they had, and we're under $2 - but I still couldn't get them because they weren't WIC approved). They didn't have the cheese that I needed either. The cheese that I picked up, had a very clear WIC tag next to the price, there was no way of getting it mixed up with another item. So whoever tags for them, they need another lesson on how to tag properly. Both times I brought my daughter in and drug her around for nothing. This is why I go to Kroger on Airline to get all of my groceries and WIC. They NEVER disappoint!!! They are always super friendly, great atmosphere and never long lines. I would recommend going there instead of this place. I'd rather drive 15 minutes out of my way then to come here.
Use to really enjoy going in here but the last few months everytime I go in it seems like your playing a game of dodge between the staff stocking or the big carts in the way. I used to be able to walk in get what I needed and be in my way. Now I've got to play chicken with other customers because of the carts in the way or even play chicken with the staff of they are pushing the carts or stocking.
Easier shopping then the big Walmart when you only need grocery and household products. Still need a little work on cashier friendliness and efficiency but getting better. Wait times are shorter
They have most things you use around the house and good food selection.Its close to home and convenient to shop.Also doesn't get real busy like bigger Walmarts so waiting time is not that bad.
Here at home this is closest to me. Only down fall is now that it closes at night you never should be sick. They are not open and cross town to Walgreens would be the other option. Walmart of Texarkana, Tx.
