I am 56 so I have seen many Doctors! I was born and raised in Shreveport LA. live in Las Vegas but will be coming home when I retire! I still come home several times a year. Since getting to go to Doctor Sauicer 10 years ago I still keep him as my general Doctor! You couldn't get any better!
Dr. Saucier's front office staff is very rude and seemingly unprofessional. I have continued to see him despite hearing his nurses gossiping about other patients and their own co-workers. I'm not very pleased with Dr. Saucier himself anymore after a recent hospital stay. I was diagnosed with "viral heptatitis" and was told it needed to be closely monitored upon being discharged as it can get even worse and cause death. I made my appt. with Dr. Saucier 2 days after my release from the hospital as I was told to for follow up blood work. I was told if my enzyme levels were not any better, Dr. Saucier would admit me back into the hospital. When I made it to his office for my labs, the lab manager had to get involved as their office had no clue what they were even drawing blood for! Thankfully, I brought everything, including my labs, from the hospital. They made copies and then knew what they were drawing for. I was told they would rush the results as this was a serious matter. Mind you, this took place around 8am on a Friday. I called numerous times throughout the day to see if my labs were back only to be told someone would call me as they know this is serious. At 4pm, I still hadn't heard anything so I called again and was told they were ready, so I told them I was on the way. The office manager told me upon arrival that Dr. Saucier had not looked at the labs yet, so they couldn't release them. I waited around for 15 mins or so and she printed them out, handed them to me, told me no one needed to talk to me and to have a good day. I stood in the office and reviewed my own lab work (thank goodness I have educated myself on what I'm looking for) only to find my enzyme levels were back up. I asked if I needed to go admit myself back into the hospital and why the Dr. didn't want to talk to me and was told "do what you think you need to do honey!" I have never in my life felt so defeated with so many unanswered questions. I immediately called and made an appt. with another doctor. I hope I have better luck with this next one.
Dr. Saucier is simply awesome. I see him about once a year for my allergies. He is so laid back. I can always get an appointment and never have waited. My previous doctor was always booked and told me to either wait or go to an urgent care. I met Dr. Saucier at the urgent care that is in his office. Thanks doc for telling me to go to urgent care.
I called the day after Thanksgiving everyone else was closed I was in need to see a doctor. They told me to come in right away. I went in for my sinus with bad headaches. I was in and out in no time. Very nice man!! He listen to me and didn’t tell me what he think the problem is just to go on to the next patient. Nice clean building and very nice staff. If I ever need to go back I’ll pick this place first!!!! I gave them 5 Stars that’s something that I don’t do too often :)
