To begin, I have never written a bad review on any business entity before, because I believe everyone has there bad days and there is no use airing dirty laundry online. However, I have yet to have a good experience with Camping world since I purchased my RV 6 months ago. Of course when I was buying the unit, everyone was very helpful and boasted about how good there service department was, which is why I purchased the extended warranty with my RV. Fast forward 6 months into the future and the service department has yet to get anything right with my RV. I have had it in and out of there 6 times since I purchased it. This is not a bad review on my RV, things break on used RVs which I am ok with. This review is only about how disorganized and incompetent the service department is. I have been on hold for over 15 hours (combined) in the last 6 months, been told my unit was ready, only to show up and realize that nothing had been fixed yet and they haven't even started. I also do not believe that it is the service department workers fault, as they are trying their best with what they are given. It goes higher than that, the leadership and organizational efforts with camping world are abysmal. I have been happy with my used RV (although 5 things have broken in 6 months that required warranty fixes) when they should have performed a 100 point inspection before I purchased unit, but I digress. If I could go back, I definitely would not purchase my unit from Camping world because the service department is in such disarray. I would not recommend Camping World to anyone in Shreveport/Bossier area and hopefully you will have better luck with the other 2 RV places in town. Sorry for the long review, but hopefully this saves someone from the headache Camping World has caused me, is still causing me, and will continue to cause me since I purchased the extended warranty from them.
Shopping for the perfect travel trailer can be very stressful but thanks to Camping World & Matt Brinkley our sales person it was a great experience. We have really enjoyed our trailer & any questions we need answered Matt has been there for us. I would definitely recommend Camping World & especially Matt.
During a very stressful time after hurricane Harvey, Matt Brinkley went above and beyond to quickly find me an affordable trailer that I will be living in while our house is being restored. I was most impressed with how professionally he performed. He and your staff walked me through the process with kindness and patience. Please give Matt 5 stars for his efforts.
My husband needed a camper to live in for oilfield work and David Oliver was awesome! Found just the right one and got us a good deal. Then a few months later it needed a small repair and we only had a couple days to get it done in between jobs. David and the service center got it done quick and easy. They were all wonderful. We highly recommend David and camping world!
